EMERGING ARTIST PROGRAMS

In partnership with Legs On The Wall and the Australian Theatre for Young People

Steps & Holes is passionate about training young people in physical theatre and creative practice, developing instinct and cultivating pathways. Our training program delivers specialised workshops with leading artists across a range of disciplines: movement & the ensemble, writing & devising, puppetry & mask, aerial, dramaturgy, musical composition & sound design, visual design (set, lighting or video). Previous tutors include award-winning artists and industry leaders such as Max Lyandvert, Hayden Tonazzi, George Kemp, Laura Turner, Catherine Wait, Michael Hankin and Ellen Bailey. The program also includes a dedicated devising component to facilitate the creation and development of new work.
