EAP 2025 PARTICIPANTS
’The EAP 2025 was an amazing educational and immersive experience into so many areas of theatre and theatre development. Being able to connect with industry professionals and other emerging artists was so valuable to my time in the program and hopefully to the theatre that is to come!’
‘This course truly helps young people find themselves not only as artists but as individuals. You quickly learn how broad the industry is and how rewarding each part of it is through writing, acting, and composing your own works. Kate helped me gain such a sense of community and a sense of self. It also helped me work through so many mental boundaries and become a much more confident artist who can be much more flexible.’
‘The experience was a great snippet of the most valuable aspects of theatre that come together to create performance. I learnt so many applicable skills to my theatre experiences and the incredible time with such talented and passionate artists was so valuable in learning from.’
‘I found the EAP to be incredibly enriching and educational. As a performer with limited professional training, I am grateful to have engaged in the immersive, diverse and wholistic learning experience. I have learned so much more about the performance world and have developed a stronger understanding about the different components of art creation.’
‘A fantastic program that combines every bit of theatre all into one experience that not only allows you to learn and create new things, but also allows you to connect to other artists both your own age and industry professionals. Throughout my time in EAP I was able to really develop certain skills I haven’t had the opportunity to build upon before. Having access to all of the industry professionals was incredible, as it can be difficult for young adults especially after finishing school to find spaces that support and build upon these skills, unless you are fully committed to a university. The connections that I made with other young people has been amazing, and finding people who share the same passion for theatre that I have has been truly remarkable. Overall it was an incredibly enriching experience.’
‘The EAP is easily the best step I've taken to further my professional theatrical career.’
’Brilliant. Amazing. Worth it. All of the mentors who came in were brilliant in giving us insightful lessons and takeaways about each department. Kate is such an excellent and realistic mentor.’
